Jared Allen
A Buck Buchanan Award winner from Idaho State, Allen played 12 years in the NFL—with the Chiefs, Vikings, Bears, and Panthers. He earned five Pro Bowl and four All-Pro honors and helped the Panthers advance to Super Bowl 50. Upon retiring in 2015, Allen was tied for most NFL career safeties (4), most safeties in a season (2 in 2008), and most seasons (2) leading the league in sacks. He was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, Class of 2025. His “Sack Diabetes” program fundraises for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In 2009, he established Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors. Allen says, “My Bible’s my playbook for life.”.
