Matthew Slater
Slater played 16 seasons as a wide receiver for the New England Patriots. As a special teams player, he is one of the greatest gunners of all time. He played college football for UCLA, where he earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors and was selected by the Patriots in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL draft. He holds the record for special teams Pro Bowl selections at ten, which he set between 2011 and 2021. Slater received five first-team All-Pros and won three Super Bowl titles. Slater has demonstrated his faith in action through impactful involvement with organizations such as Samaritan’s Purse and Compassion International.
